The Inside Passage of Alaska is an exciting, gorgeous area. However on this day, it was a cold, wet, foggy mess with a fine mist hanging in the air. Having told students thousands of times that bad weather usually makes good photographs, I had the opportunity to practice what I had been teaching. This is a peaceful photograph that I can look at for hours.
